Asbestos Cancer is also known as mesothelioma. It is a type of cancer which is mostly associated with the exposure of asbestos: it is a malignancy which occurs in the lining of the abdomen, heart and lungs. The diagnosis is done basically on one of the following types:
Pleura: pleural mesothelioma that occurs in the lungs lining Peritoneum: peritoneal mesothelioma that occurs in the abdominal cavity lining Pericardium: pericardial mesothelioma that occurs in the heart lining
